Associate, MDL + Consumer Class Actions (3+ years)
Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a midlevel associate to its Complex Commercial Litigation team with a real MDL and consumer class action practice. This is a trial-forward platform that is consistently recognized across major litigation categories and invests meaningfully in attorney well-being through a long-running firmwide program.
Role summary
- Fact development and strategy with senior litigators
- Briefing on motion practice (including dispositive and class certification-related motions)
- Managing complex discovery across large datasets, vendors, and third‑party subpoenas
- Deposition prep, outlines, and witness work
- Coordinating with co-counsel and across offices as cases scale
Candidate profile
- 3+ years of hands‑on MDL and/or consumer class action exp preferred, but not required
- Strong writing sample with substantive motion work
- Comfortable owning work streams and driving them to completion under tight timelines
- Experience with expert‑heavy records, ESI, and multi‑jurisdiction coordination is a plus
