Associate Attorney – Litigation
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a well‑established litigation law firm on the search for a 2+ years' Associate Attorney to handle a caseload of commercial litigation matters. This candidate will ideally be licensed to practice in Washington and Oregon, and should be comfortable working independently on complex matters.
Responsibilities- Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, independently and in coordination with team members.
- Conduct factual investigations and develop case strategies.
- Oversee document productions and manage a variety of discovery tasks.
- Prepare witnesses for depositions.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Review and interpret policies, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and participate in court hearings, including delivering oral arguments.
- Assist with trial preparation and attend trial, including supporting trial teams and conducting direct and cross‑examinations.
