Legal Assistant Seattle, WA (in office)

Our client, a plaintiff-focused employment law firm, is looking for a Legal Assistant to support its busy litigation team. This role offers hands‑on experience with employment, and consumer class action cases in both state and federal courts. The firm represents clients against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies and has secured significant recoveries for employees and consumers.

This position is ideal for an organized, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and wants to contribute to meaningful litigation work.

Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with case management and day-to-day litigation tasks
  • Draft, proof, and file legal documents, motions, and pleadings following court rules
  • Interview clients and witnesses and summarize their statements
  • Organize and maintain case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, and pleadings
  • Track court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and client meetings in the firm’s calendaring system
  • Ensure deadlines are accurate based on applicable rules and statutes
  • Manage scheduling adjustments and conflicts as needed
  • Maintain electronic case records and organize documents in the firm’s database
  • Support attorneys on special projects and other assigned tasks
Legal Assistant

Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of relevant legal experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and document preparation
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
