A leading Am Law 100 firm is seeking a highly motivated and well-qualified litigation associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to join its nationally recognized Financial Services Disputes & Investigations practice in the Seattle office.
This role presents a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes matters across all phases of litigation, with a particular focus on white collar criminal defense, corporate internal investigations, civil and regulatory enforcement actions, and False Claims Act litigation. Associates in this group are routinely involved in defending global corporations in cutting-edge legal disputes and may have the opportunity to serve on trial teams handling major matters.
Key Responsibilities and Experience:
- Prior experience as a federal or state prosecutor, or federal criminal defense attorney, is highly valued
- Strong legal research and writing capabilities are essential
- Preferred experience includes managing motions practice, participating in depositions, and supporting discovery and trial preparation
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication
- Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and manage client matters independently and effectively
- Experience with complex commercial litigation or internal/external investigations is highly desirable
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, the ability to manage multiple matters, and a high level of professional responsibility
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice in Washington or eligibility for admission
