We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Defense Attorney to join our growing team. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to handle complex cases in the field of catastrophic injury. Our firm is renowned for its commitment to excellence and we are looking for an individual who shares the same dedication. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in handling injury cases and is well-versed in all aspects of personal injury defense law.

• Manage all aspects of a case from inception to conclusion, including drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlement discussions, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence, ensuring a solid defense strategy.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
• Confer with colleagues to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
• Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
• Act as an advocate for clients in legal proceedings, representing them in trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations before courts, judges, and other authorities.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury defense.
• Proven track record of successfully litigating and settling personal injury cases.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret complex legal information.
• Proficient in legal research software and case management systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to interface at all levels of the organization and with external clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
