LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our client in Seattle, WA. This direct hire opportunity offers a hybrid work environment with 2 days in office after the first 30 days of training fully onsite.
The Legal Assistant will be responsible for preparing legal documents and correspondence, managing state and federal court filings, maintaining attorney calendars, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, and providing exceptional client service. This role requires at least 5 years of legal assistant experience. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on high profile cases and work with a great team.
This role works on a variety of litigation matters with a heavy focus on labor and employment cases.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, format, and proofread correspondences and legal documents, including briefs and pleadings
- Electronically file court-compliant documents in state and federal courts
- Prepare new client/matter requests
- Update and maintain client files using document management systems
- Maintain attorney calendars
- Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements
- Provide high-level support to paralegals and attorneys
- Maintain confidentiality in all communications and documentation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required;
College degree preferred - 5+ years of Washington state litigation experience required
- Proficiency in Lexis Nexis, Pacer, ECF
- Experience with document management systems like Aderant Milana, Concur
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Thorough knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and legal processes
- L&E experience a plus
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 annually DOE
