A law firm seeks a full-time USPTO-registered patent prosecution team attorney in Seattle, WA, experienced in preparing and prosecuting software-related applications. This role offers an alternative to traditional partnership-track positions with a lower billable hour requirement.
Duties- Prepare and prosecute software-related patent applications.
- Develop patent portfolios and provide client counseling.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent prosecution preferred.
- USPTO Registration Number required.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
- USPTO Registration Number.
- Experience with software technologies such as cloud, security encryption, AI, bioinformatics, mobile applications, databases, and networking preferred.
- Lower billable hour requirement.
