This position is located in Seattle, WA.

This role’s primary responsibility is to maintain unconstrained supply on a global scale for the responsible categories and work with our internal customers and business partners to understand demand signals and drive the appropriate supply strategies to deliver continuity of supply. This has to be achieved while enabling procurement with low cost structure and flexibility in adapting to volatile demand.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage supply chain strategies on a global scale
  • De-risk supply chain constraints through sustainable long‑term strategies for tier‑1 solutions and tier‑2+ critical components
  • Drive the strategic aspects of large complex cross‑functional projects
  • Develop and maintain supplier capacity modeling both from equipment and on‑site commissioning support resourcing perspectives
  • Understand demand inputs and position supply to support unconstrained growth at AWS scale in both the short‑term and long‑term horizons
  • Engage with global supply chain counterparts to drive leading supply chain practices and initiatives
  • Partner with engineering teams to drive successful new product deployments at scale
  • Drive innovation through the supply chain and influence industry practices
  • Develop analytical reports to deliver information to business partners and stakeholders that support improved decision making
  • Manage supplier lead times and drive them to meet AWS business requirements
  • Manage supplier performance and allocation of material to demands based on priority
  • Be a subject matter expert for the customers, technologies, and markets in which you engage
  • Manage cross‑functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
  • Identify and drive realization of opportunities for sustainable, scalable, relative advantage in your category
  • Requires travel up to 15% of the year
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
  • 6+ years of related industry experience
  • 8+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced consumer electronics product company
  • Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 6+ years of supply chain experience
  • 6+ years experience in supplier performance management in sourcing and/or supply chain with direct ownership of executive‑level negotiation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
  • Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
