Customer Supply Chain Manager

Spring Foods is a growing food manufacturing company with baked goods under two brands:
The Sola Company, a low-carb, high-protein bread and bagel business, and The Essential Baking Company, a premium artisan bread bakery based in Seattle, WA. We are seeking an experienced finance professional to help manage and perform the finance and accounting functions for both brands.

The Customer Supply Chain (CSC) Manager is responsible for leading the company's integrated business planning process while serving as the operational connector between Sales, Customers, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Logistics, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. This role ensures alignment between demand, supply, inventory, production, and customer fulfillment to maximize service levels, minimize costs, and improve profitability.

In addition to owning the monthly sales and operations planning process (S&OP), this position serves as the primary operational control point across the order-to-cash process, proactively managing customer service, order fulfillment, inventory visibility, and deduction prevention. The CSC Manager is expected to identify risks before they impact customers, drive cross-functional issue resolution, and continuously improve supply chain performance.

• Lead the monthly S&OP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process across all business functions.
• Develop and maintain rolling demand, supply, production, inventory, and capacity plans.
• Facilitate consensus demand planning with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
• Balance customer demand against manufacturing capacity, raw material availability, labor, and inventory constraints.
• Develop scenario analyses and contingency plans for supply shortages, demand changes, and capacity limitations.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, inventory health, customer service levels, and operational performance.
• Present executive S&OP recommendations including risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, KPIs, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Serve as the primary day-to-day operational contact for customer order status, fulfillment, shipping schedules, and service-related inquiries.
• Provide proactive, timely, and accurate communication regarding:
• Order status
• Inventory availability
• Delays
• Shortages
• Substitutions
• Delivery appointments
• Build trusted customer relationships through consistent, professional communication.
• Partner with Sales to proactively identify and resolve customer issues before escalation.

• Maintain end-to-end visibility of customer demand against available inventory, production schedules, inbound materials, and shipping readiness.
• Monitor inventory levels to identify shortages, excess inventory, aging inventory, and fulfillment risks.
