Responsibilities
- Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
- Interacts and manages a globally dispersed supply base
- Places purchase orders in SAP/ERP
- Expedites parts’ fulfilment, by leveraging available resources (i.e. production stock, customer spares) to meet key airplane milestones
- Analyses data to make recommendations for potential part shortages mitigation i.e. safety stock
- Coordinate and partner with on-site supplier support teams concerning rework of seats
- Regularly reports out status to Seats and Airplane Program leadership
- Support program initiatives (ie. site‑consolidation, storage, product protection, join verification rework and impact to seats, safety stock)
- Tracks and anticipates production milestones to mitigate risks (seat installation, certification, ticketing, customer activities)
- Proactively problem‑solves and implements process improvements
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement Work, Supply Chain, and/or general Business Operations
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
