Huntsman Corporation is a global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated and specialty chemicals. The Americas Logistics Manager is a key role within the Polyurethanes Division, located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position reports to the Supply Chain Director and is a member of the Global Logistics team and the Americas Supply Chain Management Team.

The Americas Logistics Manager is responsible for the overall management of the logistics function across the Americas, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of finished products to customers domestically and internationally. Core responsibilities include:

• Department management, organization, and salary administration.
• Leadership, development, and performance accountability of logistics team members.
• Control of distribution spend for the Americas and optimization of spend in support of commercial initiatives.
• DOT regulatory compliance for product shipments across all modes of transportation.
• Development and implementation of cost‑improvement initiatives and innovative programs to improve OTIF and carrier performance.
• Management and coordination of EHS audits and support for freight and distribution service providers.
• Leverage all HPU third‑party logistics partners (bulk, package carriers, transload, warehouse/distribution locations).
• Drive quality performance and accountability relating to OTIF, customer corrective action programs, and product stewardship.
• Embed Transportation Management Software solutions to enhance logistics execution and spend performance.

• Liaison between Huntsman Corporate, Huntsman Commercial, Lanxess Purchasing/Logistics/S&OP, regional supply chain teams, EHS departments, customers, and internal employees.
• Maintains effective and timely communication across Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Technical, Production, Shared Services, QA, and Product Development.
• Participates in trade and industry associations to stay current on industry practices.

• Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical, supply chain, or business field.
• 10+ years of logistics experience with proven supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP Atlas, Lotus Notes, workflow databases, GMIS, HPU Intranet, Web forms, OMP, HSIMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience preparing economic and feasibility studies for domestic and international distribution.

• Technical expertise in logistics, IT systems, and chemical manufacturing processes.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of supply chain, purchasing, marketing, and engineering processes.
• Knowledge of export and import regulations, packaging, marking, documentation, US customs clearance, and transportation of chemicals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, teamwork, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement and value creation.

• Prepare and manage department, freight, and distribution budgets.
• Establish and maintain a quality improvement process within the department.
• Manage third‑party audits and comply with Responsible Care partner quality requirements.
• Drive customer corrective action programs to maximize order satisfaction.
• Coordinate loss and damage claims with Corporate Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality & Business Systems teams.
• Lead innovative projects to improve value over time through technology and route‑choice optimization.
• Hold team members accountable for skill development and contribution annually.
