Responsibilities
- Support 24x7 Logistics team in Seattle, WA
- Support Enterprise Transportation and Logistics across all business units critical to the supply chain health
- Enable production, and meet various program needs
- Provide support to their team in driving optimal solutions utilizing contracted carriers for all modes of transportation while balancing schedule, cost, and strategic growth initiatives
- Be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements, including weekends and holidays
- 3+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation
- 3+ years of experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives
- 3+ years of experience leading teams and supporting cross functional organizations
- 3+ years of experience managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership'
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience working with freight forwarders, specialty/charter carriers, and/or transportation service providers across multiple modes: FTL, LTL, International and Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with import/export compliance and regulatory agencies (preferred)
Demonstrates expertise in logistics and transportation management, with a strong focus on effective communication and leadership in cross‑functional environments. Proven ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize tasks in fast‑paced settings while supporting supply chain health.
