The Stanley 1913 brand is seeking a strategic, ground-breaking Director, North America Logistics to lead logistics, transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution operations across North America. This role is responsible for building a scalable, efficient, and customer-centric logistics network that supports continued growth while improving service, cost, and operational performance.
The ideal candidate is both a strong operator and a change leader who can modernize logistics capabilities, advance systems and automation, and develop a high-performing team. This leader will partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Technology, and external logistics providers to strengthen the North America network and prepare it for future growth.
A critical focus will be evaluating and implementing logistics technology and network advancements, including warehouse management systems, automation opportunities, and transportation optimization.
What You'll DoLogistics Strategy & Operations LeadershipDevelop and implement the logistics strategy in North America across transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, distribution, and value-added services.
Lead day-to-day logistics operations while ensuring alignment with global logistics and broader business priorities.
Drive continuous improvement that strengthens service levels and reliability, reduces cost, increases agility, and improves customer experience.
Identify operational risks and establish mitigation plans that support resilience and business continuity.
Network Design & TransformationEvaluate and optimize the North America logistics network to support future growth, capacity requirements, and customer expectations.
Evaluate outsourced and in-house operating models, including the future role of 3PL partners and opportunities to build internal capabilities.
Lead RFPs, RFQs, vendor selection, and contract negotiations for logistics, transportation, and technology partners as needed.
Technology & Systems ModernizationDrive the advancement of logistics technology, including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, and related supply chain platforms.
Partner with Technology and Operations teams to implement automation that improves visibility, productivity, inventory accuracy, and service.
Build on established reporting and analytics practices that enable proactive performance management and decision-making.
Partner & Vendor ManagementBuild productive relationships with carriers, warehouse operators, 3PLs, and other external logistics partners.
Establish clear service-level expectations and performance routines that reinforce accountability and continuous improvement.
Lead a robust governance model through regular business reviews and ensure providers meet operational, service, and financial commitments.
Leadership & Talent DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop a high-performing logistics team of approximately five employees.
Assess organizational capabilities and design the structure, roles, talent, and ways of working required for future growth.
Create a culture of accountability, ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Financial ManagementOwn logistics budgets, forecasting, annual planning, and cost-management processes.
Identify productivity and cost opportunities while maintaining or improving service performance.
Develop clear investment proposals and cases for logistics transformation and capital initiatives.
