Production Operations Associate
This role is in-office Monday through Friday.

- The Production Operations Associate is responsible for style master, cost sheets and issuing production purchase orders to deliver on-time products to meet sales demand across all business units. The incumbent will partner with cross-functional teams to align the flow of production to support inventory strategies and capacity challenges.
- Responsible for seasonal item setup and maintenance in style master to include pricing, season codes, hierarchy, fabric content, HS codes, etc.
- Setup and maintain seasonal cost sheets in ERP system.
- Coordinate/organize Retail, eCommerce and Wholesale sales orders by month at style/color/size level incorporating projections for Specialty stores and Sports when issuing production orders.
- Submit production orders to vendors and confirm acceptance of quantities, pricing, and required delivery dates.
- Communicate daily with vendors to monitor production status, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery commitments.
- Manage production delays or issues by confirming revised ship dates with vendors and communicating updates to cross-functional partners.
- Issue and maintain accurate record of all production purchase orders.
- Adjust quantities as needed and ensure accuracy of data including cost, dates and style details.
- Communicate and adjust production purchase orders for transit delays based on business needs.
- Monitor Wholesale orders throughout the season and assess if original placed PO’s meet sales demand (units and timing) - determine need to chase and/or adjust existing purchase orders.
- Make request and execute purchase order updates based on Production Team confirmation.
- Work with cross-functional partners on capacity issues to manage flow of purchase orders.
- Communicate to business when orders are below MOQ and cannot be purchased.
- Determine and inform customer service, Allocations, Wholesale, Retail and Ecommerce on styles that are sold up, oversold, dropped or shifted out by delivery and season.
- Assist with other duties and projects as required to help support the overall business.
- Constantly strive to improve process efficiency and streamline flow of information.
- Flexible for other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience
- Generally, 2+ years production planning experience
- Experience in retail merchandising a plus
- Excellent math skills
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of the apparel production processes, lead-times, garment construction desired
- Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on all areas of responsibility
- Able to build and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional teams
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Excellent time management skills
- Communicates clearly and effectively – reflecting an appropriate sense of urgency when relevant
Pay Range: $24.17 to $36.29 USD Hourly.
