PositionA maintenance mechanic is needed to perform routine tasks related to building and equipment maintenance, repair, and modification. The focus is on the repair of small appliances and general maintenance duties.

Application Tips- High school diploma or equivalent
- Specialized training in at least one field of maintenance
- Valid Washington state driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Respond to work orders, perform maintenance repair tasks, and close work orders.
- Painting: Repair interior or exterior painting; replace caulking; prepare and paint units.
- Carpentry: Repair window trim, screens, blinds, and hardware; minor repairs to walls, stairs, floors, porches, sidewalks, fences; repair or replace interior doors; change locks; replace knobs and minor unit hardware.
- Plumbing: Repair or replace faucets, spouts, P-traps, dishwashers, shower heads; unplug toilets and drains.
- Electrical: Replace furnace filters, heat registers, low voltage thermostats; replace bulbs, outlet/switch covers, low voltage thermostats, light shades, fixtures; replace smoke detectors.
- Unit Vacate: Clear out, clean, paint, floor, wax floors; assist in eviction process as needed.
- Maintain inventory of materials needed to complete repairs.
- Perform inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
