Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Urban Self Storage is looking for a dedicated full‑time Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! This role ensures our locations are operating at a high standard by performing maintenance and repairs across multiple facilities in Seattle, WA.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks at multiple office and self‑storage locations.
• Conduct repairs and upkeep of small office spaces.
• Ensure the property is safe and well‑maintained following assigned work orders.
• Perform daily janitorial tasks such as property clean‑up and trash service.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records and inventory management.
• Report daily progress and pending tasks to the onsite Store Manager.

• Experience in broad maintenance work.
• Regular use of power tools.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.
• Skilled painter with the ability to install rubber base.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions and mobile applications.
• Positive energy with a customer‑focused attitude and approach.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.

• General skills to replace lock systems and door hardware.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting roofs and cleaning gutters.

$21.50 to $23.50 per hour.
