Overview
Floor Care Technicians supporting the Environmental Services Department
Multiple Openings - Evenings to Night Shift
Responsibilities- Maintains hard surface and carpeted floor areas throughout the Hospital and ancillary buildings, including routine maintenance (cleaning and burnishing), following floor cleaning schedules, and knowledge of cleaning machines and processes for caring for hard and soft floor surfaces.
- Performs project cleaning activities, including steam cleaning, deep cleanings, and construction follow-up cleanings.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum of six (6) months experience providing professional floor care and/or operating machinery. Ability to speak, read, and understand English. A demonstration of this ability is required. - Required Credentials: N/A.
- Preferred: IICRC Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification for Floor Care Technician (FCT) and Carpet Care Technician (CCT). At least two (2) years work experience as a housekeeper in a medical setting which includes experience in a hospital setting and demonstrates the ability to follow specific instructions and perform repetitive physical activities.
- Compensation Range: $20.76 - $29.59 per hour
- Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
