Aegis of Madison is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to assist the Maintenance Director in the general maintenance and repair of our assisted living community and works for the lowest-cost solutions to maintenance issues.

Schedule:

* Tuesday - Saturday

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

* Perform repairs and do preventative maintenance on mechanicals

* Prepare rooms for new residents

* Communicate effectively with residents, other staff, and Maintenance Director on updates or issues that need to be addressed

Qualifications

Who You Are:

* Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of facilities and operations systems management in an assisted living and dementia care community

* Skilled at building relationships with residents and staff members

* Ability to maintain resident confidentiality

* Knowledge and/or ability to learn federal, state, and local regulations

* Must be willing to take 2-step TB test
