Field Service Engineer – Seattle Region

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Makino machines at customer facilities.
• Train users and share technical knowledge with customers.
• Serve as the front line between Makino and the customer, providing a friendly face and expert support.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed.
• Use customer support technology and contribute to knowledge product development.

• Professional, positive attitude and a cool head under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for great customer service.
• Strong electro‑mechanical skills covering motors, drives, transformers, and machine tools.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and a tech‑savvy mindset.
• Background in machine‑tool installation, maintenance, or repair is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness for regional travel (minimal overnight stays).

• 2‑year technical degree in Electrical/Automation OR 1+ year of hands‑on experience in a related field.
• Manufacturing experience through internship, co‑op, or job work is a plus.
