Position:
Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting
Location:
Bellevue, WA (Hybrid)
Employment Type:
Full-time long-term contract (12-24 months)
Pay Range: $90-$100/hr

- You will operate at the intersection of Finance and Technology, overseeing complex, high-volume transactional data sets and ensuring compliance with ASC 606 standards within a fast-paced, digital-first environment. This is a critical leadership position that requires a blend of technical accounting mastery, operational excellence, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end revenue accounting process for diverse revenue streams, including equipment sales, service plans, and emerging digital offerings.
- Act as a subject matter expert on ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), providing guidance on complex contract structures and new product launches.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely analysis of revenue results.
- Partner with IT and Product teams to optimize billing systems and automated revenue recognition tools, ensuring they scale with our massive customer growth.
- Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical growth.
- Maintain a robust SOX control environment and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors regarding revenue matters.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management capacity. Big 4 public accounting experience is highly preferred.
- Direct experience in telecommunications, SaaS, or high-volume consumer services where complex revenue recognition (ASC 606) is a primary focus.
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Experience with large-scale ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is required.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership and non-finance partners.
