Compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $170,000

About The Job

The Project Manager leads and is accountable for their project(s). They manage and oversee all project phases from business development through commissioning and are ultimately responsible for ensuring adherence to contract documents, that work is performed safely, on schedule, within the budget, and all closeout requirements are met in a timely fashion. As the project leader, they foster a collaborative team environment, support the training and development of internal team members, and work to build collaborative working relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and others on the project team.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with the preconstruction team on all preconstruction activities leading up to project launch.
  • Establish a bidding strategy and bidders’ list for the project
  • Responsible for the coordination of all work being performed on the project through the use of 2D and 3D coordination, scope review, shop drawing coordination, and other methodologies.
  • Set purchasing goals including buyout and scheduling goals. Communicate goals with the project team and ensure goals are being followed.
  • Create a comprehensive work plan for the project and communicate it to the entire project team.
  • Manage all functions related to the project including but not limited to project management, project controls, engineering, procurement, BIM, risk management, safety, profitability, and quality.
  • Develop, train, mentor, and direct the work of internal project team members including performance evaluations.
  • Continually review and monitor projects for potential risks. Work with the project team to monitor, plan for, prevent, mitigate, and solve challenges as they arise.
  • Create monthly cost reports and ensure that all monthly pay applications and bills are created, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Prepare (with Partner buy-in) all Owner/Venture contracts.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, including clients, tenants, architects, engineers, and subcontractor partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
  • 8 + years of experience in roles construction management roles with progressively increasing responsibilities or equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Office and Outlook.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management and scheduling software
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate and lead teams effectively.
