Warehouse experience, people leadership, hazmat/DG/export compliance knowledge

We are working with a growing global aviation distributor serving aircraft operators worldwide. With international customers and a fast-moving logistics operation, our team is focused on accuracy, speed, and accountability. We are seeking a hands‑on Warehouse Manager to lead and elevate a well‑established warehouse operation supporting a regulated, global distribution business. This role is for a leader who knows how to take a capable team and drive stronger accountability, consistency, and performance across daily operations.

This role is designed for a hands‑on warehouse leader who knows how to elevate people and processes. The team is experienced and capable, but the expectation is to bring structure, discipline, and a performance‑driven mindset to daily operations. This is not a passive or maintenance‑focused position. You will be expected to set clear standards, coach supervisors and frontline staff, and hold the operation to measurable outcomes.

You will own all warehouse activities including inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving execution, regulatory compliance, and safety. Success in this role means predictable execution, strong team accountability, and continuous improvement across the operation.

This is a full time, permanent position onsite in Tukwila, WA.
* Willing to help with relocation for the right candidate.*

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and material handling
  • Establish and enforce clear expectations around accuracy, quality, safety, and productivity
  • Ensure all outbound shipments comply with applicable regulations including labeling, traceability, dangerous goods handling, and export documentation
  • Build and standardize shipping and receiving workflows so work is executed consistently and correctly
  • Oversee forklift operations and warehouse equipment, ensuring certifications, training, and maintenance are current
  • Use ERP and warehouse systems to monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement operational improvements
  • Improve warehouse layout and space utilization to support efficient movement of parts and materials
  • Own cycle count programs, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS and RFID tools
  • Partner closely with Quality, Sales, and Purchasing to resolve issues quickly and prevent downstream impact
  • Develop a team culture centered on accountability, communication, and ownership
  • Conduct regular safety reviews and enforce quality standards without exception
  • Prepare operational and performance reporting for leadership and external partners
  • Support additional operational initiatives as needed
Must‑Have Skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
  • At least 4 years of people leadership experience with a proven ability to improve team performance.
  • Strong working knowledge of hazardous materials, dangerous goods shipping, and regulated documentation requirements.
  • Experience with export compliance including EAR and ITAR.
  • Hands‑on experience using ERP systems and warehouse management software.
  • Forklift certification and demonstrated experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Proven ability to lead by example, communicate clearly, and solve operational problems before they escape.
  • Track record of maintaining high safety, quality, and accuracy standards in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Aviation or aerospace parts experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Background in aviation, aerospace, or regulated manufacturing or distribution environments is preferred but not required.
  • Competitive salary package with performance‑based incentives.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a leading global distributor.
  • Collaborative, multicultural, and fast‑paced environment.
