Janitorial Operations Manager

Our client is a reputable provider of janitorial services, including window cleaning, post-construction cleaning services, and pressure washing. They are currently seeking a Janitorial Operations Manager to oversee their daily field operations and ensure consistent, high-quality service across assigned commercial accounts.

Role Overview

The Janitorial Operations Manager is responsible for managing janitorial staff, conducting quality control inspections, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. This role works closely with field teams and internal partners to meet service standards, staffing needs, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day janitorial operations across assigned accounts.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and address service issues promptly.
  • Ensure proper staffing, coverage, and adherence to service standards.
  • Hire, onboard, train, and manage janitorial staff.
  • Manage scheduling, performance, and accountability of field teams.
  • Coach employees and address performance issues as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
  • Respond to client concerns, scope changes, and special requests.
  • Partner with ownership, sales, and administrative teams to support accounts.
  • Assist with onboarding new accounts and service transitions.
  • Identify operational improvements and process efficiencies.
Qualifications
  • Experience in janitorial, facilities, or service-based operations management.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple sites and priorities.
  • Willing to be in the field and respond to issues as they arise.
