Location: Seattle, WA
Role OverviewThe Branch Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of branch operations for a Seattle-based location specializing in environmental services equipment. This role combines operational leadership, commercial performance, and people management to drive safe, efficient, and profitable growth while delivering exceptional service to customers across municipal, industrial, and commercial markets.
The Branch Manager serves as the senior leader on-site, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards while building strong customer relationships and a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership- Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including equipment rental/sales, service, logistics, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and Washington State environmental and safety regulations
- Implement and maintain safety-first practices across all branch activities
- Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, uptime, and customer satisfaction
- Own branch P&L performance, including revenue growth, cost control, and margin improvement
- Develop and execute local business plans aligned with regional and company strategy
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective action as needed
- Partner with sales teams to grow market share in environmental services, infrastructure, utilities, and industrial sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, municipalities, and partners in the Seattle market
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and rapid resolution of customer issues
- Represent the branch in the local market and identify opportunities for expansion and cross-selling
- Recruit, develop, and retain a skilled workforce including operations, service, and sales personnel
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Lead workforce planning, training, and succession efforts
- 5+ years of leadership experience in equipment rental, environmental services, industrial services, or a related field
- Proven experience managing branch operations or a comparable multi-function operation
- Strong understanding of environmental services equipment and related safety/regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated P&L management experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-facing skills
- Experience working with municipal or industrial environmental services clients
- Knowledge of the Pacific Northwest market and regulatory environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong safety record and regulatory compliance
- Consistent achievement of financial and operational targets
- High employee engagement and retention
- Positive customer feedback and sustained revenue growth in the Seattle market
Comp base range is $75-102k base with a 25 % bonus and full benefits.
