The Amazon Energy Procurement Operations (EPO) team is looking for an Energy Operations Manager to manage the portfolio of energy supply contracts post‑implementation, ensuring compliance and performance.
Key Job Responsibilities- Own the assigned portfolio of energy agreements and renewable power purchase agreements.
- Act as a subject matter expert on executed energy agreements in designated markets and manage contractual obligations with counter parties.
- Report and analyze portfolio performance, identifying impacts to business units and customers.
- Support the onboarding process for new contracts and drive successful completion.
- Shape and implement EPO programs, including contract management, financial performance, and energy compliance.
- Plan and drive initiatives to improve energy operations and achieve scale effects.
- Collaborate with other AWS and Amazon teams to support energy programs.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required.
- 5 years in utility/energy industry in North America, in asset/contract management, settlements, market operations or similar role.
- 3-7 years managing cross‑functional projects, initiatives and teams.
- Master’s Degree (MBA/MS) preferred.
- Experience in supplier management, contract management, or commercial relationships with vendors or customers.
- Experience managing large datasets and building audit reports, metrics, and reporting mechanisms.
- Prior experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements in manual processes.
- Experience planning, scheduling, and tracking project timelines and milestones.
- Experience developing or leading the development of automated tools.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring communication, organization and problem solving skills.

The base salary range for this position is USD - annually in Seattle, WA. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits.
