Summary
The Manager, Program Management leads a team responsible for training and enablement strategies that drive adoption of new processes, tools, and initiatives across merchandising. This role partners with learning, HR, product, technology, and program teams to design coordinated, scalable rollout plans and measures effectiveness to improve deployment outcomes. The manager is a strategic people leader who simplifies complex change, aligns resources to priorities, and ensures high‑impact execution.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of program managers, making resourcing and hiring decisions to build a high‑performing team.
- Partner cross‑functionally with product, technology, process, program, and learning teams to drive alignment and identify opportunities.
- Create training plans, learning materials, and communications that are clear, organized, and aligned with industry standards.
- Facilitate in‑person and virtual training sessions and tailor delivery to diverse audiences.
- Design and implement measures of training effectiveness and use data and feedback to improve deployment strategies.
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, remaining proactive and solution‑oriented through challenges.
- 6+ years in training, deployment, project/program management, change management, or business process improvement.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and sustainment methodologies.
- Experience developing and delivering training across in‑person, virtual, and e‑learning formats.
- Proven ability to drive change at scale, strong stakeholder influence, and exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; change management certification preferred.
