Executive Project Director - Seattle, WA
A market-leading property restoration firm is seeking a highly experienced Executive Project Director to oversee and drive the successful execution of large-scale restoration projects. The role is based out of the Seattle, WA office and will require travel as needed to manage national projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, proven leadership, and a results-driven mindset.
Must Haves
- Minimum of 10+ years' experience in construction or restoration project management, with a focus on large loss disaster restoration
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale mitigation, contents, reconstruction, and abatement projects
- Background in estimating, bidding, and progress tracking for water, fire, smoke, and storm-related projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously across various regions
- Willingness to travel for project oversight and stakeholder meetings
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
- Advanced Xactimate Certification (Level
3) - Strong business development and client relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to cultivate a personal book of business through networking and referrals
- Experience working with residential, commercial, and industrial restoration clients
- Lead the planning, execution, and financial outcome of large-scale restoration projects across mitigation, contents, reconstruction, and abatement
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, estimates, and scopes of work
- Manage personnel, equipment, and material resources for optimal project execution
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure aligned goals
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while implementing contingency plans as needed
- Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Oversee all project documentation for accuracy and completion
- Maintain and expand client relationships to support customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Foster a culture of safety and ensure adherence to relevant safety regulations and protocols
- Estimate and track progress of large loss projects including water, fire, smoke, and other hazards
- Conduct site inspections and attend in-person client and stakeholder meetings as required
