Responsibilities

The Project Manager reports to the Deputy Account Director and is responsible for managing projects, including construction, MEP, and others as assigned while providing direct management oversight of the Chief Engineer, who leads the Engineering team. This role ensures projects and engineering operations are aligned, delivered safely, on schedule, meeting client expectations and in support of overall building performance.

The Project Manager ensures all assigned tasks are delivered at the highest service level to meet or exceed Donohoe's contractual requirements.

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licenses/certifications.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday.

Duties and Expectations
  • Establish project plans, tasks, resources, ensuring a clear scope of work to meet time‑lines and client expectations.
  • Coordinate and clearly communicate with both internal and external stakeholders including Donohoe's team, IFC staff, vendors and other IFC contractors to ensure deliverables are achieved.
  • Proactively work to identify and remove obstacles.
  • Provide timely updates to all engaged parties, including attending meetings, communicating with the client, entering all projects into software or documents as required.
  • Identify and manage project budget costs, and proper billing procedures.
  • Proactively recommend and implement efficiencies in processes and delivery.
  • Conduct competitive process, develop statement of work construction documents, obtain bids/proposals/cost estimates for Tenant Work Orders and construction projects.
  • Issue Requests for Proposals to subcontractors for tenant projects.
  • Vet and interview all potential subcontractors.
  • Utilize CMMS system for tracking.
  • Manage all subcontractors/vendors and their respective subcontracts supporting the tenant projects.
  • Review tenant construction projects to ensure compliance with IFC building standards and that work meets tenant satisfaction.
  • Conduct building site inspections and coordinate repairs.
  • Establish and maintain respectful and effective relationships with Donohoe team, tenants, clients, vendors and other supporting Donohoe's World Bank‑IFC contract.
  • Conduct client/project team meetings as required.
Engineering Leadership Oversight
  • Directly manage the Chief Engineer, providing leadership, performance management, and professional development.
  • Partner with the Chief Engineer to align capital projects with operational priorities, preventive maintenance programs, and long‑term asset planning.
  • Support engineering staffing, training, and succession planning through the Chief Engineer.
  • Ensure consistent engineering standards, safety practices, and operational excellence.
  • Work with the team to present ideas of innovation and the use of technology in Engineering for greater effectiveness, increased sustainability and or cost savings.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and risk; proactively resolve issues.
  • And other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Possess at least 4 years of recent experience (within the past 7 years).
  • Experience as a first‑line Supervisor directing personnel responsible for accomplishment of similar operations.
  • Knowledge of mission‑critical systems and their applications.
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and email applications.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations.
  • Possess excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively supervise.
  • Possess a professional demeanor.
