Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
Sigma Defense is seeking a Program Manager to lead the execution of large, complex support‑services program within the Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, and Laser Systems portfolio for our Department of War customer.
This role is responsible for full lifecycle program management, including cost, schedule, performance, subcontractor oversight, risk management and customer engagement. The Program Manager serves as the primary interface with government stakeholders, ensuring all contractual requirements are met and that technical, operational, and financial performance aligns with program objectives. The ideal candidate has deep experience managing major defense acquisition programs (ACAT I‑IV), demonstrated knowledge of Navy and DoW policies, and success leading multi‑disciplinary teams.
The position requires a Secret clearance and onsite work in Washington, D.C.

- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess one of the following:
- A) a high school degree, a GED, or 20 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and or Laser program management or administrative experience.
- B) a bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and or Laser program management or administrative experience.
- C) a master's degree and 10 years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and or Laser program management or administrative experience.
Qualifications:
- Program Management experience managing a large support services contract with multiple subcontractors.
- Experience with ACAT-I major weapons systems and ACAT II through IV programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Navy/DoW policy and guidance.
- Demonstrated knowledge with cost, schedule and performance as it relates to program execution.
- Supervisory and personnel management skills.
- Communication and briefing skills.
- Experience with financial management.
- Proficiency with Foreign Military (FMS).
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
- A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
$151,000 - $200,000 annually.
