General Manager

General Manager – Radisson Hotel Seattle Airport

General Manager is responsible for the efficient management of all hotel operations, ensuring high standards of guest service, operational excellence, and financial performance. The GM will develop and direct business plan strategies to meet and exceed the expectations of owners, associates, and guests.

• Develop and implement business strategies aligned with Choice Hotels and owner objectives.
• Monitor performance regularly and adjust strategies.
• Serve as liaison for owner relations in conjunction with corporate.
• Develop annual and capital budgets with the Controller and Vice President of Owned and Managed Operations, and secure owner approval.
• Collaborate with other company businesses to leverage resources, purchases, revenues and training opportunities.
• Forecast market penetration and set realistic yet ambitious targets.
• Achieve profit, customer service and revenue goals by directing operations.
• Maximize revenue through sales and marketing plan with Management Services Team.
• Publicize the hotel via public relations and community network.
• Work with Executive Committee to improve operations by evaluating guest services.
• Analyze business results and take actions to improve outcomes.
• Leverage system-wide expertise to incorporate best practices and deliver cost-effective services.
• Represent the management company in owner relations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, national laws and standards.
• Develop and implement strategies supporting employee engagement.
• Recruit HR resources necessary to achieve hotel and Management Services goals.
• Oversee HR management: recruitment, training & development, compensation, recognition, performance.
• Recruit and select qualified candidates actively.
• Communicate performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Coach and counsel employees to achieve performance objectives.
• Create 100% guest satisfaction by delivering the Radisson experience.
• Provide training and resources for employee engagement and "Yes I Can!" service and teamwork.

• Minimum ten years senior hotel leadership experience.
• Minimum three to five years previous General Manager experience in a full service environment.
• Minimum two years upper upscale hotel experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven leadership skills, results oriented.
• Ability to resolve conflicts with guests, supervisors, and employees.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers.
• Ability to create a diverse and supportive work environment.
• Strong time management skills.

Starting Salary: $130,000.
