The Senior District Manager will manage the work within the appropriate budget requirements and work closely with the customer or building management company. Work with any customer issues as well as employee relations issues.
Responsibilities- Ensure company standards are met in compliance with operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within specified budget of labor and expense.
- Review daily labor for assigned district and educate supervisors on payroll procedures.
- Adhere to and enforce established company policy and ensure subordinates do the same.
- Contact customers (when necessary) to ensure services meet contract requirements and support customer retention.
- Use proper personnel management skills to resolve problems with employees and supervisory personnel.
- Carry out positive recognition and disciplinary action as needed, and train subordinates.
- Assist in safety program follow-through with Branch Safety Coordinators, ensuring compliance with all safety policies.
- Report accidents involving personnel, vehicles, public liability, property damage, and fidelity claims.
- Assist in district supply systems, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper supply levels within budget. No discretionary spending without prior approval of branch management.
- Manage job budgets and costs associated with area of responsibility and oversee supervisor vacation and holiday replacement coverage.
- Assume additional duties as assigned or requested.
- 3‑5 years of experience in a service‑oriented environment.
- Ability to prepare advanced documents using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work with and communicate with front‑line employees as well as upper‑level management.
