Appleton Finn is partnering with a highly respected, employee-owned commercial interiors contractor with a strong presence across the West Coast and Midwest. Known for delivering high-quality tenant improvement and workplace projects, this firm has built a reputation for excellence, collaboration, and long-term client relationships.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of projects in an entrepreneurial environment where performance and profitability are directly rewarded.

Lead and Develop a TeamManage and mentor Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Coordinators, helping to build a high-performing team.
Grow Your NetworkDevelop your own book of business while building relationships with clients, architects, brokers, property managers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare bids, budgets, and respond to formal RFPs
- Participate in client interviews and presentations to secure new work
- Lead pricing strategies, value engineering, and feasibility assessments
- Develop site logistics and detailed project schedules
- Act as the primary client point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage procurement, cost control, and change orders
- Lead weekly project meetings with clients and subcontractors
- Oversee project closeout, including punch list completion
- Handle project financials including forecasting, reporting, and collections
- Build, mentor, and manage project teams
- 3+ years’ experience in construction project management (commercial interiors preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple or complex projects simultaneously
- Experience leading and supervising project teams and site staff
- Background in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar (preferred)
- Strong business development and client relationship skills
- Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and similar platforms
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Strong estimating and scheduling expertise
- Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 (dependent on experience)
