Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a large-scale electrical construction project within a major transportation infrastructure environment. This position is responsible for overall project execution, financial performance, client relationships, risk management, schedule adherence, and team leadership.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex electrical construction projects and driving results across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of large-scale electrical construction projects from inception through completion.
  • Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
  • Manage contract scope, change orders, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing project teams.
  • Collaborate with field leadership, estimating, procurement, and support teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor project productivity, schedule milestones, and overall performance.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Lead project reporting, documentation, and closeout activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience within electrical construction.
  • Proven experience delivering large and complex electrical construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost controls, scheduling, estimating, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing electrical projects valued at $40M+.
  • Previous experience within transportation, aviation, or other complex infrastructure/mission critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of large-scale commercial and industrial construction delivery methods.
  • Base salary: $185,000–$240,000 (dependent on experience)
