Summary

The Manager, Merchandise Operations 2 leads the Inventory organization to drive operational excellence and transformation across merchandising and supply chain. This role balances day-to-day execution of core buy-cycle processes with longer-term process and tooling improvements while leading large, multi-layered teams through change. The manager uses data, cross-functional influence, and performance metrics to improve efficiency, speed, and quality in supplier onboarding, item setup, and ordering execution.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and manage an organization of approximately 100 team members, including ~10 people leaders.
  • Drive change leadership and execution for process evolution, tooling adoption, and operating model shifts.
  • Ensure reliable execution of core inventory and buy-cycle processes at scale while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Define, monitor, and act on KPIs and performance metrics to inform priorities and drive improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, supply chain, stores, digital, product, analytics, and technology teams.
  • Engage senior leadership to surface risks, align on priorities, and drive decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, operations, supply chain, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, multi-layered organizations and people leaders.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through change, ambiguity, and evolving business priorities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to synthesize data to support decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong cross-functional influencing skills.
