Project Manager – Event Content & Conference Programs
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the planning and execution of large-scale event content programs. In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate content development, manage project timelines, track deliverables, and help deliver successful conferences and events from planning through post-event analysis.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned event content work streams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
- Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, trackers, and status reports.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and roadblocks to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support conference planning and execution across multiple event programs.
- Analyze post-event data and provide recommendations for future improvements.
- Drive operational improvements and implement new program delivery processes.
- 3+ years of program or project management experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft 365, Asana, Air Table, Cvent, Rain Focus, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
- Conference or event planning experience with ownership of breakout sessions or similar work streams.
- Hands-on experience with Air Table and/or Rain Focus.
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Background in event marketing, experiential marketing, or event operations.
- PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, CMP, or other project management certification.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proactive problem-solving and risk management mindset.
- Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable presenting project updates to leadership.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, Event Management, or a related field. Project management certifications are a plus.
