The OpportunityWSF is currently seeking applications for promotional opportunities to serve as a Terminal supervisor. Supervisors manage day-to-day terminal operations, including planning and providing continuous improvement in all processes and practices. A successful supervisor is a proactive individual who uses their exceptional communication skills to advance employer initiatives, ensure effective employee communication, and enforce collective bargaining agreements. In this role, you must develop reports, analyze data, and encourage superior position customer service among team members, as well as train, mentor, and build success for the entire team.

Supervisors may be assigned to remote terminals with limited advance notice and are expected to effectively oversee operations across all terminal locations. They may also conduct operational evaluations, including reviewing staff schedules and identifying trends in customer feedback and concerns.
Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role, you/the Supervisors will:
- Be dispatched to remote terminals with little advanced notice.
- Be required to effectively administer all terminals.
- Occasionally perform operational evaluations covering everything from staff schedules to trends in customer feedback/concerns.
- Uphold WSF’s strategic priorities (Service Excellence, Improved Communication, and Empowered People) and values (Serve, Grow, Trust, Respect, and Navigate), ensuring they are embedded in WSF’s culture through leadership actions.
To be considered for this opportunity, the following are required:
- Intermediate knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft Office suites
- Three (3) years of continuous employment within WSF Terminal Department.
- Attend one of the 4 scheduled mandatory in-person informational sessions:
- Thursday, September 10th Information Session - WSF HQ 2901
- 8:00 am – 10:00 am
- 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Tuesday, September 15th Information Session - Eagle Harbor Maintenance Facility
- 9:00 am – 11:00 am
- 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
