The pay range is $95, per year and benefits include PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, and a 401k with up to 4% match.

What you’ll do as the Production Control Manager:
  • Oversee all Production Control department activities and drive improvements in the efficiency and accuracy of information and material flow to and from Coordinators.
  • Coach, mentor, and train all direct reports. Promote talent, growth, and productivity through coaching and cross‑training.
  • Take accountability for your department and team; work to quickly resolve any challenges.
  • Create or improve standard practices for identifying and raising the visibility of stalled (open/aging) MOs, process bottlenecks, and anticipated or real delays in production.
  • Use 5 Why’s, A3s, and other Lean tools to identify opportunities for process improvement and see through to completion, including development, implementation, and revision of Standard Work.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the Scheduling Workbook while providing scheduling advice to the Production Planning Team.
  • Act as the Department Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the implementation of production-related software. (with support from the IT and Business Systems teams)
  • Develop and maintain departmental KPI reporting to track production, efficiency, accuracy, quality, and other issues on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis.
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop team members including regular employee performance reviews.
  • Review timecards and paid time off requests on a daily basis.
  • Create and manage performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Promote best practices and lead by example.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S principals.
  • Work safely. Follow all directions and procedures and enforce the use of appropriate PPE as needed.

What you need to be successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Production Control/Production Planning, including extensive knowledge of manufacturing requirements and planning processes.
  • At least 2 years’ experience leading a team of 3 or more employees.
  • At least 2 years’ experience utilizing and implementing Lean principles.
  • 1 or more years of additional experience in a related field such as inventory, scheduling, or supply chain strongly preferred.
  • 2 or more years of hands‑on experience using ERP systems, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience and passion for motivating people, instilling accountability, and achieving results.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to speak clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations. This position supports several internal teams and processes.
  • Flexibility and willingness to pivot focus – this is a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively delegate work to the team and promote emphasis on process discipline and data accuracy.
  • Strong digital literacy in modern software/programs and proficiency in MS Office applications. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP as an ERP system is a major plus.
  • Ability to use analytical skills, critical thinking, and intermediate mathematics to solve complex problems, properly create and analyze departmental data, and to better understand the business.
  • Professional communication in fluent English is required to perform key aspects of the position including customer, vendor, and other business communications.
  • Bonus points if you have an APICS/ASCM, Lean/Six Sigma or PMP certification.
Pay & Benefits:
