Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed. At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth. This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-liftorbital launch vehicle capable ofroutinelycarrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond.
Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designedfrom the beginningto be human-capable. You will help build AI tools that improve New Glenn's ability to deliver on schedule, successfully fly payloads, and maintain cost discipline.
Engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations all rely on consistent, trusted, and timely data to make quick, accurate decisions. The size and complexity of New Glenn make this a daily change. Specifically, we are looking for a candidate to take the lead on procurement and inventory strategy and the data behind it. This entails developing comprehensive spares and inventory strategies leveraging AI/ML capabilities to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
Other efforts include designing and deploying AI/ML tools for optimizing material selection, vendor evaluation, and other data analytics support functions.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with senior New Glenn leadership and collaborate with users to prioritize needs and deploy new tools/strategies. By developing and implementing AI and data analytics solutions, you will reduce inefficiencies caused by ad hoc or fragmented data handling between disparate systems. Strong technical skills, excellent communication, and training skills are necessary for success in this role.
We are looking for a self-starter who can work autonomously and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
