The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization has an opening for a
** Manufacturing Manager.
** This opening will be on 1st Shift and will involve leading a team in
** Seattle, WA
** supporting the 2-10 Machine Shop. This is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of Mechanics responsible for the fabrication and assembly of a wide variety of parts supporting both Lab Test and Flight Test operations.

* Position Responsibilities:
*
* + Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
+ Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
+ Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
+ Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
+ Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
+ Manages, develops, and motivates employees
+ Oversight and ownership to an injury free and First Time Quality culture
** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*
* + 3+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment
+ 3+ years of experience working with collective bargaining unit employees and an hourly union-represented workforce
+ 1 + years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications
+ 3 + years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion.
+ Able to work weekend overtime on a rotational basis (Approximately 3 times a year)
** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*
* + Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
+ Experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
+ Bachelor's degree in business or a technical related field
+ Experience working with represented employees, manufacturing operations and familiarity with project management best practices
+ Familiarity with Lab Test and/or Flight Test Operations is a plus but not required

Summary Pay Range Level K: $119,000 - $161,000
