The Seasonal Seafood Processor processes seafood products by performing the following duties:
Essential FunctionsChecks/verifies materials and amounts to be weighed, measured or counted and places items into the appropriate containers.
Removes Product from platforms/conveyors and packs into preformed pouches or boxes.
Set upoperateand monitor machinery used in the production process, orassistmachine operators.
Record production data such as the ingredients used,temperature. Weight sand times according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Fills hoppers of automated system with correct ingredients using vacuum assist for lifting bags.
Disassembles and reassembles the production line and equipment as necessary for cleaning.
Cleans and Sanitizes production equipment, tools, and work area per Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure (SSOP) while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
Thisrole is non-exempt at $18.65 to $18.65 per hour.
Must have worked at our Motley, MN plant as a seafood processor within the last 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications6 months experience in food manufacturing
HS Diploma or equivalent
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
The employee is occasionally required to climb ladders to elevated platforms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
