This is a full-time, on-site General Yard Worker position located in Seattle, WA. The General Yard Worker is responsible for maintaining inventory, loading and unloading shipments, organizing and cleaning the yard, and assisting with inspections and testing of equipment. The role involves using various tools, machinery, and equipment to support safe and efficient yard operations. Additional duties may include assisting with repairs, assembling orders, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications- Experience with loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and machinery
- Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment (training or certification preferred)
- Attention to detail with the ability to conduct inspections or tests accurately
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in an outdoor environment
- Commitment to workplace safety standards and practices
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in warehouse or yard operations is a plus
