Industrial Electrician at Insight Global – Seattle, WA

Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join an enterprise steel manufacturing team in Seattle, Washington. This role reports to the Electrical Lead and Electrical Supervisor in either the melt shop or rolling mill. The incumbent must prioritize personal safety and the safety of others, troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems individually and as part of a maintenance team. The position requires the ability to function well in a high‑production environment using craftsman expertise and acumen.

• 2–5 years of experience as an industrial electrician (not commercial), troubleshooting and fixing heavy equipment or heavy industrial machinery.
• Coachable personality and team player with a willingness to learn.
• A "tinkerer" – someone who likes projects and problem solving.
• Knowledge and experience with Loop devices, instrumentation, heavy power supply.
• Knows how to use a meter and work relays.
• Prior mill experience relevant to the role.
• Experience with DC motors, robots, PLC's.
• Has mechanical aptitude and knows pneumatics, hydraulics and welding.
