This is an extraordinary opportunity to be at the forefront of transforming in-flight connectivity and ensuring seamless operations across a dynamic fleet. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge technology and directly enhancing the journey for countless travelers, driving both reliability and advancement in a fast-paced environment.

We're seeking a hands-on technical leader to support a critical connectivity retrofit initiative.

This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities, allowing you to significantly contribute to both the ongoing reliability of in-service fleet systems and a large-scale aircraft modification program. You will serve as a vital technical partner, taking ownership of system performance and actively shaping the future of in-flight experiences.

** What You'll Do*
*
* ** Modification & Retrofit Leadership*
* * Develop and validate technical documentation and test cards essential for technicians executing aircraft modifications.

* Act as a primary technical liaison during installations, expertly troubleshooting engineering issues on-site as they arise.

* Uphold stringent quality and compliance standards throughout all retrofit work.

* Provide crucial support to the lead project engineer, assisting with task coordination and vendor communications.

* ** Operations & Fleet Performance*
* * Proactively monitor in-service fleet connectivity, identifying and resolving performance issues to ensure an uninterrupted passenger experience.

* Manage the implementation of service bulletins and software updates across the active fleet.

* Execute real-time configuration changes on live aircraft as needed to optimize performance.

* Diligently track progress against project milestones, promptly flagging any issues or delays to stakeholders.

** What You'll Bring*
* ** Must-Haves*
* * Demonstrated experience with Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) or extensive aircraft modification work.

* A strong background in the airline or aerospace industry, with a deep understanding of operational nuances.

* A self-starter mentality, capable of independent problem-solving and proactive learning.

* A commitment to contract work, ready to fully immerse yourself in this critical long-term project.

** Nice-to-Haves*
* * Experience with in-flight entertainment or connectivity systems, including relevant platforms.

* Proven background in systems testing and troubleshooting.

* Prior experience in space or broader aerospace programs.

* This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll collaborate extensively across engineering, operations, maintenance, and vendor teams. You won't be confined to a desk; instead, you'll be actively solving real-world problems on active aircraft and contributing to a rapidly evolving team. We're looking for someone who thrives in this fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $77-85/HR
