Job Description
The Food Processor in the Cook Chill Department is an on‑site position that requires regular attendance at the facility. The role focuses on safe, efficient handling of ingredients, operation of cook chill equipment, and maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. The position supports daily production goals while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Duties Include but are not limited to:- Measure, wash, trim, and prepare raw ingredients according to batch recipes
- Operate cook chill kettles, mixers, blenders, and portioning equipment
- Monitor chiller and cooling cycles to ensure product safety and quality
- Follow standardized recipes and production sheets with high accuracy
- Package finished products using vacuum seal or portion control systems
- Monitor product quality, consistency, and adherence to recipes and specifications
- Conduct and document required temperature checks
- Previous experience in food production, commercial kitchens, or manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP)
- Ability to read and follow recipes, batch sheets, and safety instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
