Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Job Change Coordinator and production staff to plan maintenance during downtime and maintain a planned maintenance schedule for the facility.
- Provide documentation of upcoming work, including parts lists/kits required.
- Review and improve the maintenance and planning processes to improve efficiency and remove waste, including but not limited to cost, manning, and materials.
- Understand storeroom inventories, min/max, and work with storeroom personnel to manage parts inventory and prioritize ordering against available M&E budgets.
- Interface with the safety observation, walk‑and‑talk, and near‑miss processes within the plant to ensure alignment of maintenance resources and activities to improve employee safety and environmental compliance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold people accountable.
- Plant maintenance background in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical parts (motors, gear gearboxesrings).
- Previous experience managing projects and meeting deadlines.
- High School diploma required.
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- Experience working as a mechanic or in a hands‑on maintenance capacity.
- Computer literacy/proficiency, experience using SAP highly desired.
- Experience working in a union environment is preferred.
Salary Range:
The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $129,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
