We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Programmer with expert-level Siemens NX experience to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging prototype and one-off components, including complex parts manufactured from exotic materials, gears, splines, weldments, and assemblies.

Responsibilities- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis mills and mill-turn machines using Siemens NX.
- Program prototype, one-off, and low-volume production components from engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Develop machining strategies for billets, weldments, and assemblies.
- Analyze job orders, blueprints, specifications, and design data to determine appropriate machining methods, tooling, work holding, and cutting parameters.
- Support manufacturing during program prove-outs and first-piece production.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct simulations and verify toolpaths to ensure program accuracy and machine performance.
- Collaborate closely with machinists, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to improve manufacturability, efficiency, and quality.
- 5–10 years of CNC programming experience, with a strong focus on milling applications.
- Previous experience in a job-shop, prototype, or high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Siemens NX CAD/CAM software.
- Expert-level experience programming 3-axis, 4-axis, and multi-axis mill-turn equipment.
- Strong understanding of tooling selection, speeds and feeds, cutting strategies, and toolpath optimization.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Excellent knowledge of shop mathematics, machine controls, materials, and machining processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
