Job Description & How to Apply Below

Looking to take complex aerospace components from design through to production?

This is a hands‑on engineering role within a growing advanced manufacturing team supporting technically demanding aerospace and high-performance applications.

You’ll work across design, DfAM, manufacturing development, taking customer requirements through engineering development and into repeatable production.

Responsibilities:
  • Review customer designs, drawings and requirements, redesigning components using DfAM and DfM principles where needed.
  • Develop manufacturing strategies covering additive build preparation, machining, heat treatment, finishing and inspection.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to resolve design and manufacturability challenges.
  • Design fixtures and tooling and create SOPs, work instructions, routings and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Support development builds, qualification and the introduction of new components into production.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and use production and inspection data to improve designs and processes.
  • Take technical ownership of components from initial development through to stable, repeatable production.
Experience

Required:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong CAD experience with the ability to design and modify complex engineered components.
  • Experience applying DfAM or DfM principles, ideally within metal additive manufacturing or LPBF.
  • Experience taking components from initial concept, manufacturing development or production introduction through to full production.
  • Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, routings or similar controlled manufacturing documentation.
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
  • Comfortable working across both design and hands‑on manufacturing within aerospace, defence, space or another regulated environment.
