Production Manager
If you have a background in large format digital printing, then this might be a job for you. As a working manager this position will be responsible for managing all phases of production, manufacturing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all jobs. This includes everything from P&L statements, financial follow through, meetings, scheduling, estimating, project reviews with account reps, quality control, pre-press, delivery and installation.
The manager will be responsible for supervising the production team during all phases from project kickoff, to production and job completion. The manager must be able to work with internal teams and vendors to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to client specifications. This position will report to the regional manager.

These are some of the exciting things you get to do:- Direct and coordinate production and distribution of all work originating in the wide format department
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
- Develop specific goals to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
- Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of print-related equipment
- Enlists employee suggestions and involvement
- Manage, coach, and cross-train all personnel
- Must have a thorough understanding of P&L statements
- Must exhibit relationship-building skills to support the sales and operations team
- Responsible for resolving internal and external conflicts
- Attend management meetings
- Complete daily timecard approvals
- Ability to read and work with abstract designs, elevation plans or blueprints
- Foster a safe work environment
- This position is responsible for disciplinary actions and annual evaluations
- 3 – 5 years of experience managing in a large format print production environment
- A solid working knowledge of large format printing, finishing processes, and materials
- Knowledgeable in the movement of materials through the manufacturing process
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft, and Adobe Suite
- Must be able to use and read a standard tape measure
- Exceptional math skills & creative problem solving
- Occasionally the manager is required to work late nights and weekends
- High School diploma or GED required; college graduate preferred
