Key Responsibilities

As Senior Communications Manager, you will play an important role in shaping how customers and industry leaders view our company and navigate the market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Media Relations:
    Own media relations strategy and execution with support from our PR agencies. Manage media relations in North America and Europe; engage with reporters on brand, customer, and product storytelling; manage proactive and reactive news cycles; train and brief company spokespeople; and serve as a public face of the company. Evolve the program to keep pace with AI’s impact on media, shrinking newsrooms, and an increasingly fragmented landscape.
  • Social Media:
    Own social media strategy and execution for Level Ten (primarily Linked In). Create social media campaigns; craft and uphold social media guidelines; produce written and visual content; manage the editorial calendar; and drive community engagement, with support from the Marketing team (including Europe).
  • Brand Campaigns:
    In 2026, participate in launching a large, multi‑channel brand campaign, including opportunities in industry partnerships, content creation, and media strategy.
  • Brand Narrative & Messaging:
    Manage the company’s brand narrative and messaging framework. Align cross‑functionally on messaging, write original content, distill clear company perspectives on complex industry issues, and keep messaging and key statistics up to date.
  • Events:
    Manage Level Ten’s events program—tracking and evaluating industry conferences, pitching speakers, crafting talking points and presentations, supporting event logistics, and building a system to track lead generation and event ROI using Salesforce (in partnership with internal Salesforce experts).
  • Industry Memberships:
    Own Level Ten’s industry memberships, maximize participation in key trade organizations, and identify new engagement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in communications and PR (agency experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to originate, develop, and pitch/land/publish data‑driven or technical stories.
  • Proven ability to serve as a company spokesperson.
  • Impeccable writing skills with the ability to calibrate content depth, voice, and tone across platforms.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to convey clear information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adeptness at building relationships, forging consensus, and navigating executive‑level engagement.
  • Excellent project management capabilities and judgment to balance priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing and growing social media channels, especially Linked In.
  • Experience planning and running corporate events.
  • Systems thinking to design processes that streamline workflows and achieve long‑term efficiency.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and reporting on ROI/KPIs.
