Account Coordinator, Paid Social

As an Account Coordinator, Paid Social, your primary function will be to provide vital production support for your account team. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include data analysis and formatting performance reports, implementing account tasks and optimizations, building campaigns and ads, and participating in and taking notes during internal syncs, client meetings, and presentations. You will manage 2‑4 channels (Meta, Snapchat, Tik Tok, Reddit, Pinterest) and learn DEPT's best practices for Paid Social Marketing while gaining foundational skills for advancing into more advanced roles.

• Learn the fundamentals of DEPT's paid social marketing methodologies.
• Sharpen technical skills in Excel by demonstrating proficiency in sorting, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and v‑lookups.
• Implement tasks via Meta, Snapchat, Tik Tok, Reddit, Pinterest Ads Manager platforms.
• Upload and edit campaigns, targeting methods, ads, keywords, placements, negatives, and other standard account management tasks.
• Identify performance trends, understand the metrics, and develop report write‑ups with clear explanations and insights.
• Understand bidding methodologies and the strategy behind bid adjustments.
• Update, monitor, and communicate budget pacing performance to the wider team while flagging any areas that are pacing above or below KPIs.
• Speak to channel performance on client calls.

• 1+ year of paid social or relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (pivot data, VLookup, and pull out insights).
• Strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize to deliver multiple tasks on time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Meta Ads Certification and experience working with Tik Tok and Snapchat.
• Energetic and creative marketing enthusiast; eager to roll up sleeves and learn, grow in the marketing space.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and self‑starter; able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Desire to stay current with the latest marketing trends.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 – $60,000 USD based on a 40‑hour workweek and leveling. The range considers relevant experience, expertise, location, and organizational impact. We are flexible.
